But I just got back from an overnight canoe trip up by Lake Mille Lacs. What a crazy time ... when we were driving up, it was pretty much white out conditions! I've never canoed through a snowstorm before, but I'll have to say, It was quite beautiful. Peaceful even. The trees blocked most of the wind and all of us dressed for a winter camping trip, which helped. ... but on the second day, we flipped the canoe on some rapids ... it all adds to the excitement.
