I know Lake Maria has water pumps but I don't know if they are working yet. Wild River is on the St. Croix but you'd want to filter or boil that water. There are other, nicer places but they are further away and may not be worth the drive.

I got your message about flying. Ali will be flying with the group out of MN. If it works out that our carrier is American Airlines/affiliate then she would probably go ahead and try to get it discounted. About my return flight date, I am not 100% sure as to when I will leave. Can I give you a call later to talk?

We saw the first break in the clouds, we could see down to Moshi, and we saw the summit lurking in the distance for the first time... It was a very inspiring moment for us all I think.
