Friends, Today is Saturday and here is the recap of the week; Sunday: Our team joined with the people here at IEC (International Evangelism Center) in Sakila, Tanzania for church and relaxed for the day. Monday: We went to the IEC Orphanage to visit with the children. The orphans were between the ages of 4 and 8, and many of them are orphaned due to AIDS. Hello everyone! Or maybe I should say Jambo rafiki! I hope that you all are doing well. Our team arrived in Sakila, Tanzania yesterday and we are getting some well deserved rest. We had quite a time traveling from all over the US. Minneapolis, Seattle, Austin, and New York City is where we all came from, and luckily we only lost one bag in transit. Friends and Family, Our team’s departure is fast approaching. To be very honest up until this point I have not had a lot of time to think about the trip, but the time has come and the bags must be packed. Those of us who are located in the MPLS region will be departing today at 3:15pm and will touch down in Nairobi around 7:00pm on Friday.
