Atlantic Coast Tour

On this tour, you will cycle over 2,000 miles along the Atlantic Coast from Portland, ME. to Key West, FL. Throughout the tour the team will experience the beautiful countryside of the Atlantic Coast while camping and staying with churches along the route.

In addition cycling, the team will have the opportunity to connect with churches and communities along the route, educating them about the realities of slavery today while sharing steps we can take in our own lives to end this horrible reality.

Trip Details

Dates: To be determined. (Summer of 2010)

Application Due: February 5th, 2010. Apply Now!

Challenge Level: Intermediate - Strenuous but most determined people can do it.

Support Level: Self-Supported Tour - Team members will be expected to carry their gear and personal belongings on their bikes. There will be NO support vehicle accompanying the team.

Participants: 10 maximum

Trip Cost: $2,995.00, we will provide you with resources to help you fundraise for the tour.

Additional Donation to the Just+Hope Campaign: $1000, we will provide you with resources to help you fundraise for the Just+Hope Campaign.

Inclusions: Experienced Leaders, Accommodations, Food, Tour Coordination, and Cycling Jersey

Exclusions: Travel to Portland, Maine and from Miami, Florida, bicycle, personal cycling gear, and spending money

Lodging: Churches, hotels, camping, host homes

Route: The 2010 Just+Hope Atlantic Coast route takes the team from the very northern shores of New England to the southern most point in the continential United States, a mere 90 miles from Cuba.
